First, ATP Brake does not engage in the re-engineering of brake systems or components. I do not involve myself in people's project cars besides taking orders for parts specified by the buyer...If it isn't correct, then it belongs on your coffee table along with the rest of your life's mistakes because you made the decision to buy that part and it is what it's supposed to be, but it may not be what you want it to be... this is a distinction between buying wholesale and buying retail, please note well. This has nothing to do with alledged defective parts, either. This has to do with taking responsibility for that which you choose to buy. Wholesale vs. retail in a nutshell...

The quick take-up master cylinder designates a class of plastic reservoir and aluminum body cylinders which have special valves in between the reservoir chambers and the cylinder compression chamber in the bore of the cylinder.
The valves act to meter fluid inflow and outflow and also the rate of pressure relief from the compression chamber back into the fluid reservoir. These units are first seen on GM vehicles from 1982 onward. They are typically much harder to bleed than older tandem cylinders and do require special techniques for success at bleeding.
