1957 Chevrolet C6400 (16000 lb GVW, dual rear wheels). Single cylinder master cylinder is below floor, and its pressure line feeds a canister; same canister also has a vacuum line going to it. output of the canister is 2 lines, which as tee'd into a total of 4 lines, one line for each wheel.
I fill the master cylinder, and press the pedal - nothing. I press the pedal 5-6 more times, the master cylinder is now empty. I refill the master cylinder, repeat the process, the fluid just disappears. I've checked the 4 wheels for fluid, nothing. I could pour in a quart of brake fluid, and never see a drop at the wheels.
Vacuum booster is too corroded for repairs, I think I need a new booster.
Anyone have any ideas?
I pulled the vacuum line
